I started riding when I was 16, my older brother put me on a klr250 and took me on a 3 day dual sport trip around Lake Tahoe that turned me into a rider for life.
I have a couple of bikes right now suited for different types of riding, depending on what and where I’m riding I pick between a Ducati Monster 796, BMW R1200GS, Honda CR250R, and a recently acquired a GPX FSE300R.
My favorite ride in Virginia has to be the Mid Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route which runs along the Blue Ridge Mountains across the entire western side of the state. It’s a scenic route that offers dirt, gravel, and paved roads through remote and scenic parts of Virginia.
